AGWA-IL Chapter H, St. Patrick's Day Dinner Run 03/17/01
by Mike and Sue Hanus, AGWA-Illinois Chapter H

We knew it was meant to be!  After driving 17 miles on Saturday, March
17th to get to Rooster's Barn & Grill for our St. Patrick's Day Dinner
Run, we learned that 17 AGWA-H  members were present!  Perhaps some
leprechaun playing a liitle trick???

Being the diverse group that we are, some folks dined on traditional
corned beef & cabbage, some had traditional home style meals and some
opted for ethnic specialties  (by the way, our indomitable chapter rep
Les "O' Chapman", dined on corned beef and cabbage, tortilla soup and
washed it down with green beer!).

During dinner, we learned from Leona Tatman that Lloyd had flown to New
York that morning to pick up his new Goldwing, and was riding it back
home that night!  Way to go Lloyd - we can't wait to see it!

An enjoyable evening was had by all.  Hope to see you at the next dinner
run (now only if this lousy weather would cooperate!).

Ride Safe,

Mike & Sue Hanus
